Muslims - Reservation and Poverty – Whom to blame?

The Uttar Pradesh election is on full heat now and this morning when I woke up and turned into news channels and websites, all I could hear and read is our Law Minister,Salman Kurshid's controversial statement(promise @!@!) on 9% quota for Minority(Muslims) in Uttar Pradesh even after Election commission issued a strong warning against him. (Click Here)

He is giving an excuse that it's not about elections, but about the governance and for the poor people. If Mr.Kurshid or Congress is really concerned about the governance or about the poor Muslims and not about elections then they could have implemented the quota for Muslims in the states which is already ruled by them. What stops them to implement it in Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan and other states which are ruled by them? Does that mean they aren't concerned about the governance of those states?

It is funny to hear Rahul Gandhi blaming (Click Here) BJP, SP and BSP for serving their vote bank only and playing caste/religion politics. If they are playing religion/caste based politics and dividing the country, what is this called? Secularism ? The word “Secularism” means free from any religion and not supporting minority religion.

It takes no time for Gandhi(s) to send their mouth piece Digvijay Singh to curse Hindus, RSS and other Hindu based organization are responsible for the poverty and lack of literacy among Muslims in India. It is statistically true that Muslims are poorer and not literate than other religions (read Hindus) in India but pointing others for their failure is silly and totally unacceptable.

To prove it, if you could list the countries (Click Here)in the world which has majority of population are Muslims then 90% of them are poor or very poor so how does other religion affect their progress and development? What reservation should they be given in global level for them to develop? If for any reason, Saudi Arabia or UAE or Malaysia is on the global stage then either because of their natural wealth (oil) or they didn’t adopt the religion seriously.

In simple, when India and Pakistan(also current Bangladesh) partitioned during Independence based on religion, both of them were almost in the same economic situation(crisis) probably, the later was in bit more crisis and that’s why Indian had to fund them. We have everything in common - weather, natural wealth, food habit etc etc except religion and now just look at the pathetic situation of the Pakistan state and Bangladesh. Do Indians and Hindus are to be blamed for their failure even after 65 years of Independence?

If the Muslims of India feels they are suppressed, they are, and then it’s the high time for them
     a) To sit back, think and analyze on what went wrong with them than to put blame on others.
     b) Why they have been continuously used as vote bank?
     c) Why they weren't able to produce a strong leader so far and still dependant on others?
     d) Does Madrasas will really help them to achieve in their carrer?

In my opinion reservation in the form of language, caste, religion will never lift the standard of the people rather it will push them down further. They should be given equal rights and not special rights; they should come out and compete with others in open forum. It will enable them to set benchmark and look at the sky confidently.

PS:
1. I wish Muslim's of Uttar Pradesh will go and vote in next phases of election by not getting influenced by fake and false promises.

2. I'm not Anti Muslim[:) :)], I am just Anti- Reservationist, I will also be happy to see Muslim's betterment through a normal procedure and that would help everyone(Hindus, Muslims, Christians etc) to live peacefully without any hatred.

Response – It’s not all “D K Bose”

This is a response to the blog by Sagarika Ghosh - It’s not all “D K Bose”

Blog : http://ibnlive.in.com/blogs/sagarikaghose/223/62522/its-not-all-dk-bose.html

I would like to thank Sandeep S, my colleague, who is one among few whom I feel worth debating for sharing this article.

The article starts with Mr.Prime Minister's statement-"cynicism and negativism against government", it's neither cynicism nor negativism but it’s the right to question and do a constructive protest against the Government when it's failing or during communication deficit in a true democracy for the welfare of the country. As a citizen, I myself am completely disappointed with the closed media address by the Prime Minister when the nation is rolling under the series of corruption. We should learn the meaning of transparent communication from the government of United Kingdom through the ongoing Phone Hacking scandal enquiry where the whole enquiry was documented and released to public. It gives the people of country a sense of hope and trust over the political system and the government.

It wasn't the fault of Dr.Manmohan Singh to accuse the media and opposition (People's representative) with the large section of people who doesn't know the "value" of democracy. Around two to three years back on 15th Aug, Independence day there was full(first) page survey report in Times of India on Democracy among Indian Urban people. There were lot of question and one of them was "What do you mean by Democracy?" and it's was very unfortunate that only 3% answered "Right to PROTEST!" and most of the them answered Elections, Right to Move, Freedom, blah blah...If I am in China or in North Korea also I still do have right to vote or Freedom to move then what's the point on being to proud of largest democracy.

If there were no protest we would be still paying tax to British, we would be still living in the black period of democracy (The Emergency 1975-1977), revolution wouldn't have had happen in Egypt etc so unlike portrayed as cynical, the protest against government is social revolution, freedom movement and will pave the way for the growth of the country.

In the next step the author(Sagarika) talks about the recent changes in the system in a positive note which is very good but it's again very unfortunate all the system she had mentioned are independent bodies which is not influenced by the government or Politicians be it Election Commission or Supreme Court or CBI or Media or People. I would have been very happy if it came out from the government.

The changes in the system did not happen long back, the changes are happening recently. Election commission or Media or CBI started understanding its real power through few abolitionist and one who deserves due credit is T N Seshan(former Chief Election Commissioner) for making electoral reforms and making the election commission as powerful body. The Media has become so strong(both in positive and negative) and it played a huge role in supporting the opposition for bringing the 2G Scam, CWG Scam, Adarsh Land Scam, Bellary mining Scam etc to the roads. Had not been the media is powerful the climax of all these corruption scandals would be another copy of Bofors, Hawala and Stamp Paper etc. Ironically, on the other side the person from the same media who runs the show "The Buck Stops here" discussing about the same scandal is also involved in the scam. It's not that only buck stops in her desk but also portfolio decision.

On the social democracy and liberation from birth based privilege by Dr BR Ambedkar, it's making presence, in corporate environment one could see a Dalit and Brahmin sharing the desk, Dalit being boss for Brahmin but it's very hard to take it from one's mind "Oh, he is Brahmin!", "Haan, he is a Dalit!" when the census and reservation still happening on caste based in 21st century. The social democracy should happen based on equal rights and not through special rights(reservation), it will be slow but if it happens it will steady and progressive.

Arundathi Roy - The first paragraph should not be confused with her movement. Period and ignore her.

We have very good system, probably the best system(both Political and non Political) and in parallel if we have a stable and non corrupt government with strong opposition, unbiased media and disciplined people then the sun will never set in east.

Yes, the change is happening in my country and I could feel it ten thousand km away from here happily and hoping to sense it soon!

PS:
1.Gandhi and Nehru lived in negativism and cynicism unlike quoted.
2.I personally don’t like the author, I have followed many of her debate shows, she is dominating and she thinks she is always right.

Bihar Election 2010 - Big Slap on Corrupt and Pseudo Secular Party

Jai Sri Ram!!! A big slap in the face of corrupt and pseudo secular party. Never in the history of Bihar any party(coalition) has won more than 185 seats, BJP+JDU alliance has completely swept the Bihar election 2010 by winning 206 seats out of 243 with a combined vote share of 39.2% keeping the development and good governance agenda in the front.

The parties played with caste based politics, religion based politics have tasted the sweet mud of Bihar. The victory can’t be taken as verdict just against the corruption of UPA lead by INC alone and it’s a victory for the growth and development of BJP+alliance ruled states. Bihar is growing at 12% and Gujarat is growing at 11% against to the national average of 8%.India would have never dreamt about 8% GDP growth rate with lesser inflation ratio than growth ratio before A B Vajpayee rule.

The media which portrays BJP as anti minority party should take down in their book that more than 20% of Muslims voted for BJP+JDU and it’s not only in Bihar but also in Gujarat in the recent Corporation election where Muslims came out majority and voted for Narendra Modi+BJP for his good governance. In the history of India, no party has completely swept the elections with linked to the performance except BJP in Gujarat and JDU+BJP in Bihar.

I remember a month ago before the voting starts, almost all mainstream media (Times Now , NDTV , CNN IBN,I personally don’t consider Headlines Today as news channel and it should be included in Comedy channels in DTH :) ) were comparing Rahul Gandhi vs. Nitish Kumar. Damn it, they should know that gimmicks of eating out in Dalit’s Home, traveling in economy class flight, sleeper class train will not help to the growth of India and it’s ridiculous to compare Rahul Gandhi who has done nothing so far to the country with Nitish Kumar with a proven record of being Chief Minister and Railway minister. I am sick to even recall the comparison between L K Advani and Rahul Gandhi where the former joined RSS and dedicated his life to public at the age of 14 taking the organization ideology to the core of India walking 20 kms in a day in the hot desert of Rajasthan and later at the age of 24 spend his life in Pubs and drinks.

This election result is major footprint for BJP with a strike rate of 89.22% much above its alliance JDU (81.56%) and gives a clear message to Nitish itself who has denied the ticket to Narendra Modi and Ravi Shankar Prasad for campaigning due to the recent win in Ayodhya Verdict where Ravi Shankar Prasad was one of the legal advisor for Ram Lala and won the case. (Click Here).

I wish and hope at this joyful time, the crisis in the Karnataka will also resolve soon and the lotus will blossom all over India and the Lord Ram rule will back once again. Jai Sri Ram!!!!

CMS Champions League 2010

It’s the match summary of Nissan Europe Team(Nissan Titans and Nissan United) in CMS Champions League 2010 at KCG College on 3rd and 4th July 2010. This summary is for my colleagues in Mahindra Satyam who hadn’t turned to see the match and also to maintain the history

It’s a bad time for Football giants .. Brazil Lost in Quarter , Argentina lost in Quarter at FIFA 2010 and then it follows Nissan United lost in Quarters and finally followed by Nissan Titans in Semis in Champions League 2010 .

Nissan Titans Vs Red Wolves (League)

It was midnight around 6 am :) on 3rd July where the team socked themselves to woke up to wear the proud soccer shoes and gloves. Nissan Titans headed by Gourav Jain already geared up in the ground at 7.30 AM and was hungry to win the first match against the Red Wolves. Time clicked 8.15 am but Red Wolves didn’t turn up, I guess they would have read the past history of Nissan Titans somewhere . We won the qualifying match without straining or injuries and qualified to Quarters.

Nissan United Vs Octopus (League)

The second match was between “Nissan United” Vs “Octopus” where our team dressed up like Brazilians and Octopus dressed up like Argentina , the audience felt like two international teams have landed in KCG and playing against each other . As the name suggests, we could see both NE-OS and Mainframe players in the same team headed by Karthik Selvaraj . Unlike last time , Cheer leaders had got opportunity to cheer up the team and to enjoy the beautiful game. Match started exactly at 9.00 am this time with Arun /Karthik playing attacking role , Kannan /Praveen taking defense position and Harman as a goal keeper. Myself , Vasanth , Abhinav were still warming up to get into the ground.

First five minutes Octopus were attacking and the ball was mostly on our side . It was 8th minute of the first half , Karthik provided the pass to Arun and with no mistake he initiated the magic moment for the team to clear the crossbar with Octopus Goal keeper had no way to stop it. At the end of first half, Nissan United was lead by 1 – 0.

After five minutes break the match started, once again the 8th minute of second half was lucky for Nissan United where Abhinav applied the slightest of head touch to flick the ball into the net. Titans were up by 2 -0 started playing defence and Kannan/Vasanth did a fabulous job being defenders. Harman with the hand gloves did his job perfectly by not allowing Octopus to score even a single goal. With just 7 minutes to go and win for Nissan United was almost confirmed, Praveen who stroked the ball from the other side went like a bullet to clear the post. He should have been obviously awarded a golden shoe for this goal. Finally Nissan United crashed Octopus 3 -0 and entered into Quarters. Praveen was elected player of the match .Dance and Cheers all over the ground :)

As both the team entered into Quarters , two games were played parallel evening at 4.00 pm when the sun is out and humidity was high . It was Nissan Titans Vs Ford Fusion on one ground and Nissan United Vs Generic on the other ground.

Nissan Titans Vs Ford Fusion ( Quarters)

It’s the moment where Titans were waiting to follow the United way. With Sudheer taking Striker position , Gourav in Middle , Dinesh and Ganesh taking Defence and MET the team in no mood to defend and started to attack . With couple of chances being missed by Titans, it paid a way to Fusions to score the goal at 10th minute of the first half. At the end of the first half , Fusion lead the game 1 -0 .

Nissan Titans were in no mood to leave the game, with Mohan and Ashok replacing the players. Titans started to attack and the ball was mostly on Fusion side , Mohan was able to roll the ball easily and passing to Gourav ,there were couple of missed chances. Meanwhile , Dinesh, Ganesh and Ashok was doing some good job in saving couple of the Fusion chances.

MET did played as like a professional goal keeper saving a goal with a mud on his moustache :).

With just three minutes to go , when Titans almost on the edge of losing the game , the team captain Gourav Jain had managed to scored a goal to level the score 1 – 1. From then, no team were able to score another goal till the game was over. With no extra time , for the first time in the tournament the match was to be decided on penalty shoots . Each team has to select three players and goal keeper. MET , Sudheer and Dinesh represented the team as penalty shooters and Gourav as goal keeper .

Ford Fusion had taken the first chance, where his player was unable to convert the shoot to a goal which was excellently saved by Titan Goal Keeper. MET took the first chance for Titans , with a slip in his leg , the ball went left side of the goal keeper. Both the team did not score a goal on the first chance. Ford Fusion second chance was lost when its player hit the ball on top of the goal post . Sudheer took second chance for Titans , his thought was not hand over the ball once again to the opponent . He made it , yes he did it ,he was able to clear the fence and thus Titans won the match smashing Ford Fusion 2- 1 and qualified to Semi-Finals. Gourav Jain was elected as the player of the match. Cheers and Dance all over KCG once again :).

I am sure that Dinesh , Mohan and Ashok would have lost few pounds within an hour and they will feel like coming to college today (5th July) when they dress up to come to office :) .

Nissan United Vs Generic ( Quarters)

Parallel , the match between Nissan United and Generic was getting hot . Both the teams haven’t scored a single goal with couple of missed tough opportunities until half time. Nissan United players were all tired with two consecutive matches on the same day and little injuries to couple of players during the play also caused a draw back to the team.

Defense weren’t strong for Nissan United this time and let the Generic team to roll the ball easily. Generic team missed a golden opportunity approximately 5th minute of second half where the goal keeper Harman did an excellent job to save the goal. . With just few mins of play to go, Generic this time capitalized the lack of opposition defense and cleared the post once. Then from there Nissan United wasn’t able to gear up, finally Generic entered into semi final beating Nissan United 1-0 . It was tough game and both the team played equally well.

By winning the Quarters, Nissan Titans were all set ready to play against the same strong Generic which Nissan United had lost in Quarters on next day (4th July) . Titan Players were on hunger to thrash the Generic to qualify to finals and take the revenge.

Nissan Titan Vs Generic ( Semi)

The match started by Generic winning the toss and elected to play in the college side. The game continued both the team attacking and defending each other for couple of minutes . Meanwhile Ganesh’s mouth was outplaying his legs most of the time during the progress of the game. Both the teams sweated a lot to clear the post at least once but lucks favored no one until the break. Likewise the Quarter , match reached the break with no teams scoring a single goal.

Starting second half , Ganesh and Mohan was replaced by Dinesh and Ankush . During 7th minute of the game , Titans missed a chance to clear the fence to lead the game . It was just 5 minutes to go when both the team hasn’t scored, everyone was expecting one more penalty shoot to be happened to decide the qualifier of Finals. Generic’s Team captain Simon who hit the ball hard , which was touched by Titans Goal keeper MET and hit the goal post rod and fall down which was then catched by Goal Keeper. The referee with no hesitation has given a “controversial” goal for Generic. The play interrupted for few minutes when both the team and referee arguing on the validity of the goal awarded ( then it even continued end of the game too :).
With just 4 minutes to go , Sudheer , Gourav and Dinesh tried a lot to save the match but unfortunately their effort has become vain which leads to Generic to won the match 1 -0 to qualify for the finals.

There was murmur in Titans team that the referee was being biased to the Generic Team since they were the organizer and they appointed the referee.

Last , we might have won in one game or lost in another game but all the 16 players had truly won the spirit of being sportsmanship . It was indeed appreciable to display such a fantastic show on the field and off the field in between all the work pressure and tight delivery schedule. Kudos to everyone :)

What I’d conclude by saying is, you have just read only 10% of the real show which was being displayed and if you hadn’t turned up in case … Wait .. Don’t go .. It’s just football is over; Cricket is on its way to pull up your socks once again.

Gear up Nissan Europe!
All the Best !

PS: Generic team which thrashed both of our teams has won the Champions League 2010 beating HP Jets 1-0.

Random Thoughts

Everyone do think Randomly while walking , driving , travelling in train , bus , at office etc. and ofcourse I do too. I have never planned to draft it in some place until yesterday I have seen a blogger who has put all his "Random Thoughts" beautifully . Here are some of mine , I wont be completing it in just a day and hope this post will be always active and I will update it whenever I feel.
Some of my thoughts doesn't even make any sense to myself and someone who is close to me will have clue about it . If you can't make anything out of it , you are normal and if you can then you are the one .. an Intelligent.

1. The birds in the right top symbolize the freedom , freedom of expression ,freedom to move beyond man made boundaries, thirst for knowledge , Unity , Enjoyment etc.

2. Its Saturday afternoon , I am home alone and planning to take lunch in some Andhra Mess. Andhrs Mess's pappu(dhal) and curd is always my favourite .

3. I have changed my Previous Templates since some readers felt tough to read with a black background . So how is this one....... ???

4. I have taken this pic today morning when it rained

5. The Tamil colloquial word "Thevidyal" ( Devdasi) which is often used to abuse is actually a Holy Word. Thevidyal = Thevadrgaluku Adiyal ( Devdasi - Dasi for Devaras) means a lady who has committed her life to serve the Devars or Rishi . They were misused later by few and now in modern world they are referred to as Prostitutes.

6. An Indian SHOULD NOT stay alone and I am . Psychological he hasn't evolved to stay alone yet .

7. I know you have a very good car and a bike but use public transportation once in a while :). It will teach you a lot .

8 . Baaayaaaaaammmm , Vedha Nayagamuna Bayaaaam ... I love to mimic this comedy piece from Vettaikaran.....

9. Stupid game by Argentina .... Messi was messed up by the defenders :) Maradona .. Go Home Back !!

10. The sixth point is once again proved today.

11. Why this post is not getting comments ? Is this so bad ??

PS: Please come back for an updated one.
